We had been thinking of arranging some kind of social outing for our team members. Such weekend outings give the employees an opportunity to know each other in a relaxed environment, and to spend some quality time together. The human resource department (HR) of Browsewire has always been arranging for social outings like short trips, pizza parties, dinners to strengthen the office community and to break the monotony of work.
As they say- “All Work and No Play Makes Jack a Dull Boy”
And this time they arranged for a wonderful outing- IPL match that was scheduled to happen at PCA stadium in Mohali on May 5, 2012. The team members were asked to to bring their family members to join in the fun. We all reached the venue before the match begun. Both the teams- Kings X1 Punjab and Rajasthan Royals played awesome. We had a great time, cheering the players and applauding their performances.
None of us really cared much about the teams or who won, but it was a nice way to hang out with the office team. I don’t need to explain how good the outing was, because the images posted here would tell you a lot about our wonderful outing.
